I’ve been shooting in the Bluegrass awhile and this was actually the first time I’ve ever shot at Buffalo Trace Distillery. The cool part is that Barrett and I looked here for our wedding and it is just as beautiful as I remember it to be! Kayla and Michael were SUCH a blast to hang out with. This was such a laid back day full of laughter and fun. All of you know how much I love a first look, but I have to say I was so thrilled with how Michael and Kayla handled portraits. One of the reasons I tend to encourage is a first look is because of the time you get to spend with your spouse on your wedding day. I was SO impressed with how Kayla and Michael made SURE that they had time together that day. We had so much time to hanging out exploring the beautiful grounds and getting some fabulous shots! Kayla also carried the most beautiful bouquet of orchids which happen to be my favorite flower. But seriously, don’t buy me any. I kill all plants.  😉 Here are a few of my favs from this fabulous day! XO
