Q. what's your photography style?

A: This is such a broad question. It's best to call myself a non-traditional photographer. I work hard to fight the traditional wedding photography stereotypes. I love the moments in between the shots everyone else gets. My goal is to provide you with a complete story of our time together with a mixture of candid moments and creatively-composed art that you can hang on the walls in your home. I love Bold colors and beautiful light and bring both to everything I capture.

Q. what's it like to WORK with you?

A: We would hope that WORKING with us wouldn’t be much different than hanging out with a friend. We invest in your relationship and hope to begin one with you as well. We know that if you choose us, we will be a part of your story and we take that seriously. But not too seriously because we want you to laugh, a lot. This is a fun time, after all.
We also encourage you to really dig into what defines you as a couple so we can incorporate it into our time together. Do you have a favorite date spot? A place that you met? Is there something that means a lot to you? We want to know all about it. The more you are surrounded by what feels like you, the easier it is for us to capture those candid moments.

Q. how do you feel about pinterest?

A: We make a habit of speaking in depth with our couples about what is important to them on their wedding day and what shots are "must haves" in their eyes. Pinterest is a great tool for us to be able to see what vibe and feeling YOU are hoping to get with YOUR images. However, we encourage you to approach looking for a photographer like you would for a restaurant. You wouldn't go to an Italian restaurant for sushi, likewise we encourage you to choose your photographer embracing what they show in their portfolio. Each photographer has a distinctive style and voice. It's important to find a photographer that fits your vision and we hope that is us!

Q: What is a first look and SHOULD WE HAVE ONE?

A: A first look is when a couple sees each other for the first time — in full wedding attire — before the ceremony. It’s an intimate moment away from the hustle and bustle of guests and wedding preparations for you to enjoy some quiet time alone before the wedding ceremony and REception begins. Most photographers stress the time saving factors of a first look, and while most of those are true, our focus on the wedding day is the couple. We want to protect the alone time you have together on your big day because we know how hectic it can become and we know that sometimes (most times) your portrait session is the only time you and your love will have alone.

Q: How many images should we expect to receive and will we be able to print them?

A: It is important to us to always be photographers that we would want to hire ourselves.  We deliver all the edited images via online downloadable gallery where you can download and print them to your heart's content. We do, however, encourage our clients to invest in an album or large print for your home. These images become your first family heirloom and are worth the investment.
You should expect between 400-600 images from your big day for full day coverage. We won't leave any of the good ones out, though, so if there are more, you will get them as well.

A: It is important to us to always be photographers that we would want to hire ourselves. We desperately want you to print and enjoy your images. Often, people will post online and never take the time to print and display their beautiful images. For that reason, each of our packages come with a thumb drive of the edited, final, high resolution images from your day with printing rights. You should expect between 400-600 images from your big day. We won't leave any of the good ones out though, so if there are more, you will get them as well.

Q: How many images should we expect to receive and will we be able to print them?

A: Absolutely! In the country and out. We have a strong passion for travel. We have a specific package for our out of state weddings but price our international weddings separately so we can be sure to cover all your needs. If you'd like to hear a little more about our travel, check it out here.

Planning an elopement, or last minute small wedding? Those are our favorites and we have you covered. Contact us for elopement packages.
