Ahh. I’m so thrilled that I am able to get this posted. 🙂 I made it back to Kauai in November (twice in one year), this time with my  handsome man in tow.  (A hilarious go-pro video of the entire trip is in the works and will be posted as soon as it’s done.) We all know how much I love to travel and shoot in new locations. So, I promised myself when I went back out I would be deliberate about shooting my style of wedding in my kind of location. Thanks to excessive packing,  my cousin and his fabulous friends, we were able to pull of an amazing wedding sunrise shoot on my favorite beach in Kauai. I’ll tell you what, that island awakens the soul and creativity flows freely from everywhere you look.. There is not a corner that isn’t rich in color and motion and light.  It’s almost impossible to not be inspired there. This was my first real attempt at a full blown styled wedding shoot and I can’t tell you how much fun I had. Perhaps I should have not attempted to be the stylist, photographer, MUAH and florist all in one swoop, but boy did I learn so much! I love how fun and bold and colorful it turned out, which is pretty much exactly how Kauai feels to me. I can not wait to do another and I can’t thank my amazing models enough. Isaac, Jacqueline, Syndey, Ben, Rocky and Evan I want to cover all of you in kisses. Corrissa, Matt and Barrett you are the best of the best and I couldn’t have done any of it without your help. XO
