It was an impossible task narrowing down images for this post. Not only are at least 50% of these faces near and dear to my heart (Eileen is my cousin and honored me by wearing my wedding dress) but the venue was a photographer’s dream. I knew this day was going to be such a great day after the amazing time I had with Stephen and Eileen at their engagement session this spring. It’s such a joy working with a bride who thinks about things from a photography perspective and gives me carte blanche when it comes to portraits. One of my most memorable moments from this day was riding a four wheeler up a hill with Eileen to meet Stephen at the top for their first look. I have no clue how he didn’t turn around during all our shrieking lovely voices raised in excitement. Anything for a shot, is what I always say! We were threatened with rain all day and miraculously all we got was a pop up shower that produced the most romantic umbrella pics before the sun came out again and they danced the night away under the stars and twinkle lights. Sometimes everything comes together just how you plan it when you surround yourself with your family, closest friends and send up some well timed prayers. This was one of those days. XO
Beautiful work! Where was this venue located?
